Las enfermedades cardiovasculares constituyen la principal causa de mortalidad en mujeres a nivel mundial. Aunque España presenta una de las tasas de fallecimiento más bajas de Europa, estas patologías son, también en nuestro país, la principal causa de defunción entre las mujeres.
Por otro lado, existen diferencias significativas en la forma en que se trata a las mujeres con enfermedades cardiovasculares, que podrían impactar en su pronóstico. Pero ¿se observan también esas diferencias en el campo de las arritmias? Cristina Lozano profundiza en esta cuestión en CardioPODCAST con Concepción Alonso, Victoria Cañadas y Sofía Calero.
