Las oclusiones crónicas coronarias representan uno de los escenarios más complejos de la cardiología intervencionista, donde convergen la interpretación precisa de la anatomía coronaria, la valoración integral de síntomas y viabilidad miocárdica, y la selección cuidadosa de las estrategias terapéuticas.
La evidencia reciente refuerza la necesidad de individualizar las decisiones, ponderando riesgos, beneficios y objetivos clínicos en cada paciente. Profundizar en estos aspectos permite optimizar resultados, reducir complicaciones y avanzar hacia un tratamiento más seguro y eficaz de una patología que continúa evolucionando en conocimiento y técnica.
