Los presidentes de la European Society of Cardiology (ESC) y la Sociedad Española de Cardiología (SEC) firman una carta conjunta de invitación a participar en el ESC Congress 2014 que tendrá lugar en Barcelona.
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) we are delighted to invite you to attend ESC Congress 2014, taking place in Barcelona from 30 August to 3 September.
A key date in the cardiology calendar, ESC Congress is an important stimulus for new research, making connections with cardiology colleagues from across the globe and of course sharing home grown science from Spanish cardiologists.
As an active member of the ESC for almost 50 years, the SEC is proud to take part in ESC Congress and this year was the fourth highest abstract submitting country. Over 300 abstracts from Spanish cardiovascular professionals have been accepted for presentation and 105 ESC Congress faculty members are Spanish experts.
A full day programme in General cardiology for physicians, nurses and technicians will be taking place on Saturday 30 August, including a session in Spanish, ‘Prevención y rehabilitación cardiovascular: métodos en España’ with assistance provided by Asociación Española de Enfermeria en Cardiología.
In the ESC Plaza you will be able to meet with members and staff of the Spanish Society of Cardiology on the dedicated stand (A410), discover the SEC’s most important projects as well as network with colleagues.
Given all of this will be taking place in Barcelona this year, you have a unique opportunity to be part of ESC Congress 2014, the largest and most influential cardiology congress in the world!
We very much look forward to seeing you in Barcelona with what promises to be the largest and strongest scientific programme ever.
